Commissioning & Startup

Startup, parameterization and operator training for industrial shredders.

Commissioning is the most critical stage in an equipment’s lifecycle. A poorly executed startup compromises productivity, accelerates component wear and generates accumulated costs throughout the entire operation.

Jaguar Industrial commissioning is conducted by specialized engineers and technicians, from mechanical and electrical inspection through performance validation with actual material.

Scope

Pre-startup inspection: verification of mechanical installation (alignment, torque, lubrication), electrical (wiring, protections, grounding to applicable standards) and safety devices (safety standards compliance (NR-12/NR-10 Brazil), interlocks, light curtains).

PLC parameterization: configuration for the customer’s material and operation — cycle times, current thresholds for automatic reversal, acceleration ramps, integration with upstream and downstream conveyors.

Load testing: progressive operation with actual material, validating capacity, output particle size and energy consumption. Fine adjustments until nominal performance is achieved.

Operator and maintenance training: daily operation, safety procedures, first-level preventive maintenance (lubrication, blade inspection, cleaning) and HMI alarm interpretation.

Delivery documentation: report with compliance checklist and photographic record.

Typical Duration

3 to 5 business days for a single shredder, depending on complexity. Complete lines with multiple pieces of equipment may require up to 10 days.
