The first months of shredder operation are the most critical. The customer’s team is on a learning curve, materials may vary, and small adjustments make a significant difference in productivity and wear component lifespan.
Assisted operation places a specialized technician at the plant for a defined period — typically 1 to 3 months — working alongside the operations and maintenance team.
What the resident technician does
Operates the equipment together with the customer’s team, transferring practical knowledge
Adjusts PLC parameters as processed material varies
Identifies and corrects operational habits before they become chronic problems
Monitors blade wear and defines the optimal time for rotation or replacement
Produces weekly performance reports (tonnage, energy consumption, hours, reversal events)
Recommends process adjustments to optimize productivity and cost per ton
Recommended for
Customer’s first shredding plant
Change of processed material (e.g., from tires to RDF)
Multi-shift plants where standardized operation is critical
Processes with strict output particle size requirements
At the end of the period, the customer’s team operates autonomously, parameters are optimized and the equipment delivers contracted performance.
